Operation: Safe Community Action plan 2022-2026 is a crime-reduction initiative of the Memphis Shelby Crime Commission. The current five-year plan (2022-2026) includes 4 Action Plan Outcomes and 20 Action steps. Action step 15 states, Expand SafeWays’ intensive crime prevention program for apartment communities.
❖ OUTCOME: At least 50 SafeWays certified properties; a significantly greater decline in crime at SafeWays certified properties than at comparable other properties
